The four phases
1 is initiation: entry into a new context. 2 is process: lived experience and transformation. 3 is return: coming back with a changed state. 0 is assimilation: integration and preparation for the next cycle.
Why closure matters
A cycle is complete only when the result of the path is assimilated. Without this phase, the next cycle can begin before the previous experience has been integrated.
